HYS is Loft Co’s latest exciting development, located in Cardiff’s historic Castle Quarter Arcade. Renowned for transforming key Welsh landmarks such as Goodsheds in Barry, Newport Market and Swansea’s Albert Hall, Loft Co’s current project is underway bringing a new food hall to life.

Loft Co’s redevelopment of Castle Quarter Arcade will celebrate Cardiff’s rich history while introducing HYS, a cutting-edge food hall concept. Set to be Loft Co’s largest food hall project, HYS will offer:

• 650 covers across two floors with spacious seating
• 12 independent street food traders offering diverse cuisines
• Concept restaurants with tailored dining experiences
• Flexible event spaces for private dining, celebrations, workshops, pop-ups, and meetings
• A dedicated wedding and private event venue

Expected to open in late 2025, HYS will breathe new life into the Grade II-listed Castle Quarter Arcade, preserving its historic charm while creating a vibrant destination for Cardiff’s locals and visitors.
